Fundamentals of Strength is a workshop designed to take your practice to a new and heightened level. Experience poses you’ve done dozens of times in a completely new way using tools like breath, alignment, props, muscle engagement and philosophy. You will leave the workshop having worked muscles you didn’t know you had and feel empowered to explore and experiment in your continued personal practice.
Topics covered in the workshop (but not limited to):
— Breath and its purpose in your practice
— Alignment that translates across all poses
— Chaturanga demystified + how to jump back to it from Ardha Uttanasana (1/2 way lift) and crow pose.
— Props and how to use them for strength building
— Yoga Philosophy
The intention and purpose of this workshop is to set the foundation for a practice that is continually challenged, growing and injury free
There will be time for Q + A to answer any questions specific to your personal practice and goals.
It is suggested that you have taken 5 vinyasa classes before registering for this workshop.
